Overview

The GBP Product Card Instructions feature lets you create a consistent, template-based setup for how your property’s units appear on Google Business Profile.

Instead of writing individual titles and descriptions for every floor plan, you can use variables that automatically pull in data like bedroom count, bathroom count, square footage, and floor plan name.

This ensures Flair can generate Google Business product cards faster, with consistent formatting and messaging across all properties.

⚙️ Where to Find It

  1. Go to your property’s Integrations page.

  2. Open the Google Business Profile tab.

  3. Scroll down to Product Card Instructions.

You’ll see fields for:

  • Image Guidelines

  • Title Template

  • Description Template

  • Link (with UTMs)

🖼️ Image Guidelines

Add simple instructions for what type of image should be used in your product cards.

Example:

“Use bright, high-resolution photos that show the living area. Avoid photos with people or branding.”

🏷️ Title Template

Define how your product card titles should appear. You can insert variables that will update dynamically per unit.

Example:

{bedroom.count} Bedroom Apartment

Displays as:

  • “1 Bedroom Apartment”

  • “2 Bedroom Apartment”

  • “0 Bedroom Apartment” (for studios)

📝 Description Template

Create a reusable description that applies to all floor plans, using variables to pull in specific details.

Example:

Beautiful {bedroom.count}-bedroom apartment with {bathroom.count} bathrooms and {square.footage} sq ft of space.

Displays as:

  • “Beautiful 2-bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms and 1150 sq ft of space.”

🔗 Link (with UTMs)

Add the URL prospects will visit when they click your product card on Google.

Example:

https://example.com/apply?utm_source=gbp

You can include your own UTM parameters for tracking.

🧠 Notes

  • Consolidation Mode: OFF (all variables are allowed).

  • Previews show per unit so you can verify your templates are formatting correctly.

  • You can click variables under each field to insert them automatically.

  • If no variables are used, your template will apply static text to all floor plans.

  • **When GBP Instructions are applied to a property with a PMC assigned, the same instructions will automatically update for all properties under that PMC.**
